Order and Chaos | 2024

Through this body of work, I have been further exploring the chaos and order duality through abstraction. I am sensitive to emotional and physical states of being and change; and I work intuitively, observing and responding to moods and places. Combining shifting passages of paint with linear geometries enables me to express perceptions of uncertainty, wonder and curiosity with simultaneous proclivity for control and order.

With this work, I was awarded the Leith School of Art Painting Prize.
